2 new characters and 2 new maps! for Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag Multi...

I am glad to show 2 new multiplayer characters. I do not know their names yet, once I know I will update this description and annotations.
Also it shows 2 new multiplayer maps. I guess they are: Havana and Kingstone. This gives us total 4 known maps including Santa Lucia and Portobello.
Other know multiplayer characters:
The Cutthroat, The Puppeteer, The Duellist, The Navigator, The Physician, The Adventurer, The Dandy, The Mercenary, The Rebel, The Lady Black.

AC4 Multiplayer game modes, abilities, variety bonuses, customization. A...

Brief summary of what is going to be in AC4 Multiplayer and what we can expect to be there...
Please note that this is MY OPINION, not the official information.

Except of the Game Lab custom modes and Wolfpack, no actual game modes were demonstrated so far. The announcement: "we will keep all the favorite community modes". We can see templates for Wanted, Manhunt and Domination. The other "known community favorites" are: Deathmatch, Assassinate, Artifact Assault. Game Lab is a powerful tool and most probably we will find there templates for ALL modes, like Escort or Corruption, for example.

Cooperative modes can be played by 1-4 players. "Discovery" mode is a story guided walk-through Wolfpack-style tutorial. After Discovery is complete - move to Unleashed mode: Wolfpack Wanted and new sub-modes: Defense and Infection. Extra costumes (probably White) will be unlocked by completing Wolfpack.

Ranged abilities are the same: Knives, Pistol, Poison Dart and Disruption.
Other abilities are: Disguise, Firecrackers, Glimmer, Money Bomb, Morph, Poison, improved Animus Shield with new animation, Wipe, Decoy.
New AC4 abilities:
Time Phase: disables high profile, invalidates and disables lock, disables HUD in a wide radius. In case if Teleport will be removed - Time Phase will be the new escape ability.
Booby Trap: not demonstrated yet. In my understanding it will be similar to the tripwire bomb that can be attached to the Chase Brackers and activated when Chase Bracker is triggered. So you can walk through the door, but cannot run to activate it. Also I believe that Booby Trap will replace Closure ability as the least popular one.
Smoke bomb is not announced, but the community vote was to keep it. Mute rumored to be present in AC4.

Some of the variety bonuses became multipliers instead of fixed scores. Known multiplier bonuses are: Contested (x0.5), Acrobatic (x1.5), Hidden (x2), Grab (x3) and a new Bench (x3). Only Approach Score is multiplied. For example, Incognito+Focus+Hidden is counted as: 450x2+150=1050. Obviously all these multipliers are promoting stealth behavior. It seems to me that Hidden Acrobatic will be a popular "skilled" kill for x2 x1.5 = x3. Hidden Grab for x6?
Fixed score bonuses are: Focus (50 points for half-time focus and 150 for full time focus), Chain, First Blood, Revenge, Savior and Poacher (all should be the same 50 points). Varieties are not announced but most probably will stay the same 200/400/600 points for the Variety/Greater/Extreme. Mid-air and Execution (50 points) bonuses will still be present.
Ambush, in my understanding, will be abandoned for 2 reasons: it was a compensation for the reversed approach meter; in AC4 approach meter while made flexible, default will start from Incognito, so there is no need in Ambush bonus any more; and, the second reason is new Bench kill variety - in order to keep the same amount of bonuses, one in - one out - Ambush is gone.
To promote stealth, approach bonuses renamed as Poor, Good, Better, Perfect.

So far 10 characters were introduced:
female characters: The Puppeteer (Felicia Marino), The Rebel, The Lady Black;
male characters: The Cutthroat, The Duellist, The Navigator, The Physician, The Adventurer, The Dandy, The Mercenary.
It will be around 10 more characters, 5-6 from which will come with DLCs. I hope to get back my favorite Privateer from ACR.

"You have been locked" icon will be available through Game Lab customization.
There are 2 currencies in Abstergo Wallet - Abstergo and Erudito credits. Earn Credits by playing the game, spend Credits for Abilities and Customization elements. Buy Erudito Credits using real money to speed up your customization.
New maps:
- Santa Lucia (Santa Lucian fishing village)
- Portobello (really nice manor occupied by pirates)
- Saba Island (pirate hideout)
