"True Story" of AC4 Lady Black - Lucia Marquez. Templar Hunt Assassin's ...
Templar Hunt - Opia Apito - The Taino Assassin. AC4 Black Flag.
Mission start at Cayman Sound (327,334).
AC4 Multiplayer Story:
Fending for herself from the age of 12, Lucia Marquez (Lady Black) took to the streets, using any means necessary to survive. Apprehended stealing a horse from an individual of a notable power in her 17th year, she accepted training instead of jail, and in time developed a taste for comfort and order.
From Animus database. Lucia Marquez (1689-1715) [She will be 26 years old forever]
Born in Spain Lucia Marquez (Lady Black) never knew her father (Possibly the explorer Alejandro de Ortega) (Adventurer - he was always adventuring). By the age of twelve she was supporting herself and her sisters on the streets, begging, borrowing, and stealing anything she could, all the while developing the skills of a master thief.
At the age of seventeen, she was caught stealing a horse belonging to a high-ranking Templar, and wisely opted for training over jail time.
The Templar life dave Marquez the focus she needed and she never found herself at the lack of challenge or adventure.
She died at the age of 26 on Pinos Isle, wise beyond her years, on the order of the Taino Assassin, Optia Apito [who was (what a coincidence!) also the daughter of Alejandro de Ortega (Adventurer), so they were sisters, but without knowing about this]
Oh, almost forgot - As a young lady, she teamed up with Felicia Moreno (Puppeteer) - another master thief - and they were infiltrating balls and theatres, and pilfering jewels from young princesses and nobles.
The Adventurer, father to the Lucia Marquez (Lady Black) Alejandro Ortega de Marquez was a privateer, who led Spanish charges through the colonies, and personally seized several smaller West Indie islands in the name of King Philip V of Spain. He is rumored to have spent a year or more living among the Taino, though the exact location is not clear. Unbeknownst to his wife and children in Spain, he may even have taken a Taino bride and fathered one or more children.
