Antiquated Rune Thalnok, Fanatic of Crota in Court of Oryx event. Destiny Taken King



Depose the Court quest is complete.

It was my 4th or 5th attempt to kill Thalnok, Fanatic of Crota with a random public. Summoned by the Antiquated Rune. All previous attempts have failed because people simply don't know what to do.

First, kill all minions, do not touch Sword bearer or the main boss. Later kill sword bearer, take sword, other people should bring boss down by using solar weapons or abilities. When executed well - it will be possible to kill Thanlok just with one sword.

Do not kill sword bearer before all other battlefield is clean - death of the sword bearer will start countdown for the sword.

Rewards are pretty good, but the best will be from Eris Morn for the Court of Oryx quest - relic of 300 defense level.

Drops include Calcified Fragment XLVII .

Antiquated Rune is a Legendary Summoning Rune that can be used to activate Tier 3 difficulty in Court of Oryx. Before activation, players must charge the rune. To charge the rune, players to complete 3 Tier 2 (Stolen Rune) events in Court of Oryx.

Antiquated Rune can be acquired from Tier 2 Court of Oryx, Weekly Nightfall Strikes, Crota's Bane Reputation Packages of Rank 5 and higher, The Old Hunger quest reward.
