AC4 Multiplayer abilities:
5 Ranged abilities: Knives, Pistol, Poison Dart, Disruption and Sabotage.
Other abilities are: Disguise, Firecrackers, Glimmer, Money Bomb, Smoke bomb, Morph, Poison, improved Animus Shield with new animation, Wipe, Decoy.
New AC4 abilities:
Time Phase: disables high profile, invalidates and disables lock, disables HUD in a wide radius.
Booby Trap: can be attached to the Chase Brakers, activated when Chase Braker is triggered and will kill target or pursuer.

So far 13 AC4 multiplayer characters were introduced for AC4 Multiplayer:
female characters: The Puppeteer (Felicia Marino), The Rebel, The Lady Black and Unknown.
male characters: The Cutthroat, The Duellist, The Navigator, The Physician, The Adventurer, The Dandy, The Mercenary, The Buccaneer, The Wayfarer.

AC4 Multiplayer will have 8 maps:
- Santa Lucia (Santa Lucian fishing village)
- Portobelo, Panama (manor occupied by pirates)
- Saba Island (pirate hideout)
- La Havana, Cuba
- Prison, Southern Mexico
- Saint Pierre, Martinique (back from AC3)
- one in Florida (name is unknown yet)
- one in Colombia near Cartagena (name is unknown yet)

AC4: companion App, Treasure Map, Where is Your Gold. Assassin's Creed 4...

This video contains my personal guess. This is not the Official Ubisoft video, I have edited video content, left the audio content unchanged.
Companion Apps will help to navigate the world and manage missions of your fleet.
Treasure Maps will give you naval coordinates that you will need to write down in order to find the locations.
There is a hido where you can storage your gold and treasures. My guess it is inside of Portobelo mansion.

PAX Digest: Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag Multiplayer Game Director Damien Kieken is talking about the Pistolier, Game Lab, maps and multiplayer characters.
Summary:
1. Every map and every multiplayer character will be introduced in the story telling way during Wolfpack Discovery play.
2. There will (possibly) be historical personas among multiplayer characters.
3. It will be possible to disable Compass and Portrait of the target in the Game Lab. I love this and I want to try to create the Extreme Stealth Deathmatch modes in AC4!

Extra challenges are offered in different style from AC3 Wolfpack: there are always 2 extra objectives available. Once you complete one - you can get another one. In this way you are forced to complete this objective, otherwise you will stuck. More extra objectives are complete - higher the bonus for the next extra objective.
