Booby trap is the new ability introduced in AC4 Multiplayer.
It can be attached to the chase brakers. Once chase braker  is activated by another player - it will explode and will kill the player. You still can walk slow through it (do not activate chase braker) to survive. The rules for the explosion is similar to the Tripwire bomb.

Q: In team modes, will Booby Trap effect just the opposing team, or just the next person using that Chase Breaker?
A: The opposing team only of course (like Tripewire)
